My wife called asking to have our car seats inspected at which point Officer Paul Nazareth stated that we should have thought of doing this months ago, as she is delivering this week. At this point, she stated that she will have this taken care of other ways, at which point he attempted to back track stating that he wants our children to be safe. This is a high risk pregnancy, and he did not have any information as to her medical background, or if she is having the delivery at 9 months or 6 months, and to be so judgmental as to make statements like this made us feel completely unsafe and untrusting of him as an officer that is suppose to be protecting the public. He was completely rude and inconsiderate of adding stress to an already stressful time in our lives. He was completely out of line in how he spoke to her and after we told him that we would have it taken care of other ways, we ended the call. I wish I could give it a 0 star rating.

I’m a black female. Just moved to Cheektowaga… I felt harassed by my neighbor. The officer was very nice and helped out. Made me feel safe and told me not to hesitate to call again. Thank you Cheektowaga department. God bless 🙂

I was a victim of police perjury from Cheektowaga police they trumped charges against me to a felony level when they slammed me Into their vehicle yet charge me with felony in mischief Bc my small 120 lbs body dented their car apon being slammed. In front of my own house. I have felt criminally profiled From many of Cheektowaga’s PD and have been told that some are actually Nazis and Nazis supporters by people I work with. One coworker told me a white police officer invited him to a “party” at his home and his entire garage had Nazis memorabilia. This claim doesn’t suprise me once I was pulled over for a loud muffler and they shook me down and told me that I should shut up because “people get shot all the time by officers”. I as a person of color in Cheektowaga believe that better background checks should be done on them officers. Police perjury is hard to prove if no one is standing holding a camera. VERY VERY Very disappointmented in this department. Hardly any colored officers in the department too and the lack of diversity shows through the disposition of officers toward some people of color.

I was involved in an accident in a very high traffic area and called for help, it took the police 45mins to come to the scene. Multiple people had called as well and one stated they were told to stop calling because they were aware! After finally waiting for them to arrive they wrote out the police report which mind you was wrong and lacking information. driving down the street after and there were 2 police officers to one vehicle at a traffic stop!!! Get your priorities in order because there were victims sitting on the side of the highway with no help!!!!

Years ago, there was a cop in Cheektowaga named Ray Nowicki. As a patrol cop, he was a bully. When he did a traffic stop, he was rude and tried to egg people on so they would say or do something that could be considered disorderly conduct. He loved disorderly conduct an resisting arrests so he could rough people up and then get paid overtime for numerous court appearances. The other cops laughed at him behind his back. Nowicki was sued several times for use of excessive force. He somehow got promoted to detective. Maybe in that capacity he was less dangerous to the public. I always figured he would be fired, be shot or end up in prison. Somehow he slid by and retired several years ago.

I was greatly helped by all the personnel (officers and secretaries) in the inquiries regarding my car accident. I was treated with courtesy and kindness, and they went the extra mile to insure my satisfaction. Well done to a great department that polices and protects a large area.

On Mar.6, 2015, I had to inquire how to file an Order of Protection against an individual who has stalked me, been intrusive, took videos of me, took my personal items and passing it through the establishment from person to person. I do not know this guy except his first name.

This department in plagued by racism, corruption, and targeting of specific community members that have spoken out against them. The K9 officer, John Doskocz, calls black residents “spooks” and the n word. He pulls up near the basketball court (by the way, he calls basketball n****r tree hockey) at the town park and gives the K9 the command in Hungarian that tells the dog to start viciously barking, attempting to scare the black teenagers “back over their side of the line” (into the City of Buffalo).

Oh my God I can not believe how currupt rude a officer unless it was a scam or maybe a Cheektowaga detecive has been repeatedly coming to our residential property banging hitting both our windows doors and property without our families permission he keeps repeatedly arriving in our driveway not knocking at the door but in a harrasing way he almost busted our windows doors in with a hammer or something not annoying way its scaring our family. Whwhom ever this ill acting man is with some pad is not behaving in any professional accepting way and should be accountable for his ill actio s. Its unacceptable em embarrassing manner dressed in the same suit car for hours on end. We are scared anyone would be abd should never deserve such horrible treatment and harassment over and over again. This man is accting out as a dangerous pphysco crazy way. Beware people I was expecting a service to show up so I webt to the door as nd there he stood pounding like a wild banshee on our door almost breaking it viewing me as I was standing there asking him whT?? Then for my and our familys safety walked away for our protection . This i this behavior is in no manner acceptable or should be tolerated whatsoever beware. This is not a respectable police department at all the whole chain of command is corrupt immature and abusive.

In my opinion, Cheektowaga does not care about victims of rape or domestic violence. Don’t bother calling them or making a report. They take forever to get back to you and make up excuses for why they can not prosecute.
