Daryl and Wakako were excellent in helping us with the K-1 Fiancé visa process. They guided us every step of the way, from start to finish. They helped us complete all paperwork and let us know which documents and letters were needed. The process got delayed due to the pandemic, so they helped with getting extensions for certain forms. It took a year and two months to complete, mainly because the immigration offices closed for several months in the U.S. and Japan, due to COVID. Daryl and Wakako answered all of our questions promptly. They were very friendly, professional and experts in their field. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs help with the K-1 visa process.

We consulted with Daryl Takeno at Migration Counsel in Honolulu when we wanted to replace my wife’s old green card. USCIS had requested evidence of her date of birth, but her birth records had been destroyed by the war in her home country. So Mr. Takeno drafted an affidavit in which her older sister affirmed my wife’s correct date of birth, and he submitted that as evidence. About a month later, we received notice that the I-90 had been approved and her new green card was mailed to us! We are very pleased with the job Daryl had done for us. Besides getting it done right the first time, he was very patient in explaining the process to us. He also eased our mind by explaining our options if the application got rejected. He is very easy to reach, often answering the phone himself, but if you have to leave a message, he always returns your call in a timely fashion. Thank you for such great service, Daryl!
