Critical: ResponsivenessI regrettably chose to use Hilldrup to close on a real estate transaction. The experience involved submitting a ratified purchase contract to Hilldrup’s office. I received a terse acknowledgement from them that the contract was received and that an agent would contact me once a Hilldrup employee was assigned to work on my case. Seven days passed from the time I submitted the paperwork before I gave up on Hilldrup. During that 7 days I was never contacted by them by email or by phone with any updates. My case was never assigned to an employee. After waiting 7 days for a response from them, I eventually notified Hilldrup that I was taking my business to another company since time was of an essence. Hilldrup’s lack of communication and poor responsiveness is evidently well-known within the titling closing industry here in the Fredericksburg region.
