I was impressed with Syntia, a traveling notary, when she met me at my sister’s house. The document I had required the signature of multiple individuals who live in multiple states. Although several signatures had already been notarized, she was not comfortable notarizing just the signature of one individual which still left blank entries. I understood her hesitancy. Syntia is a new notary and wanted to check with the National Notary Association. When I offered to pay her for showing up, she said she could not accept payment for service she did not render. Because of her integrity, I will call on her again should I need a traveling notary.
