Dan and his Dad were recommended to me by a friend to have some legal affairs put in order. I worked with Dan over the phone first. He was so friendly and helpful and explained everything he was going to do. Within a day or two he sent me drafts of my documents and we concluded everything shortly after that in person. When I went to have the papers signed and notarized, Dan went over every aspect of each document and asked if there were any questions. Everything was finalized within 30 minutes with the help of Ira acting as notary. Two very knowledgeable people who are friendly, courteous and very willing to help in any way they can. I would recommend them with an A+ rating for your legal needs!!!

I was referred to Dan Miller for estate planning via a friend, and he had been vetted by multiple other lawyers. Dan was immediately responsive to email inquiries, and quickly set up a consultation over zoom, which is convenient in this pandemic. He took the time out to explain the legalities and options for estate planning. I found him to be extremely personable (and humorous). We went into his office in downtown Brooklyn for the final signing. His paralegal Monique is also lovely. Planning for a loved one’s future or their last wishes is never an easy thing to discuss. It was time to create a plan for my mother and her estate. Yesterday I finalized my Living Trust with Daniel. He met me, masked outside his office, to reduce my risk of COVID. My situation, in creating a trust, was complex. Daniel reassured me that he could create a document to suit my unique needs. He was always delightful, patient, compassionate, reassuring and, generally, a joy to work with. I needed to get a will and estate plan, living will, etc. and couldn’t put it off. In the middle of a pandemic, Miller & Miller responded promptly. I expected it to be a somewhat difficult process, but they made it painless. They answered all of my questions, understood my needs, and made sure I understood everything. The process was done virtually except for the signatures, which was handled in a large conference room with only me, Daniel Miller, and the necessary witnesses, all in a safe manner. I would definitely recommend this firm.

The father-son team of Ira and Daniel are so wonderful to work with. After the passing of our mom we used them to facilitate her will and estate. Even though her passing was difficult for me, working with Ira and Daniel made the process so much easier. They were sensitive to my feelings and explained everything to me. After years of procrastination, I finally got around to making a will. I researched numerous attorneys and decided on Ira K Miller & Assoc. After speaking with Daniel Miller about what I wanted to do, we met at his office to discuss my needs. He answered all my questions and I left with the knowledge necessary to make firm decisions. I subsequently emailed him my list of who gets what when I die. I then received the formal documents to review. After a couple more emails, we met to finalize everything (Will, Health Proxy, POA, etc.). I am confident that I now have everything I need. Daniel and Ira were both very helpful and personable. We procrastinated forever about getting our legal affairs in order, mainly because we were leary about finding good trustworthy legal representation.
