The thing I was having the most trouble with was getting the Bank of America to give me access to my mother’s account. I had paperwork from the clerk of court, and they refused to accept it. I spent nearly two months trying to gain access. I finally left Raleigh and came back home to the PNW. I was going through my mom’s paper work and saw Ms. Lassiter’s business card and the documents I had filed for a guardian back in 2015. I said to myself shoot her an email and see if she can be of assistance. Well, first of all, she remembered my mom after all those years, which said a lot to me. And she immediately told me what needed to take place and sent me the proper documents to bring to BoFA. It took me 30-minutes to gain access to the account. Thank you, Ms. Lassiter, for honoring and taking care of my mom one last time. I know she will continue to smile down on you as you move through life as your newly gained guardian angel. My mom passed in March. Due to COVID-19, everything was closed or not doing business in person in Raleigh. The thing I was having the most trouble with was getting the Bank of America to give me access to my mother’s account. I had paperwork from the clerk of court, and they refused to accept it.
